Floral and Decoration Policy

May contain: purple, flower, flower arrangement, plant, petal, flower bouquet, potted plant, and grass

You May Place:

  • Artificial flowers
  • Fresh flowers
  • Plants (The cemetery is not responsible for the upkeep of plants)
  • Holiday / Special decorations. No Glass Please

Prohibited:

  • Glass vases or other glass items (All glass vases and containers will be removed immediately) 
  • Rocks in a vase for weight (Vase blocks are available for purchase)

Removal:

  • When any arrangements, fresh or artificial become withered or unsightly in the judgment of the cemetery, they will be removed.
  • Removal of special holiday decorations will occur approximately 7  days following the holiday.
  • If you wish to retain the decorations, please remove the decorations within the 7 day period. The Dallas Cemetery District #4 cannot be responsible for the theft or damage of flowers, decorations, vases or personal memorabilia.Grounds Maintenance: Following each interment, a grave is filled and leveled. As weather permits, the site is seeded. Because of settling of the soil, new graves may require repeated leveling and seeding. While these conditions prevail and until turf building has progressed, the cemetery thanks you for your understanding.Please report to the cemetery office any matters which appear to need corrective action.
